Heather Ayles - 2014

Inducted - October 4, 2014

This last award we would like to present is for an individual that has demonstrated leadership, guidance, an incredible list of accomplishments and success in the sport of powerlifting for the last two decades.

This Athlete has been one of the best lifters in the Canadian Powerlifting Union since their arrival almost 20 years ago and falls into an elite class that has won 13 National titles, countless best lifter awards and National records along the way.

This Individual has served as the President of PEI Powerlifting Association, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary while remaining as one of the best Ambassadors for PEIPLA, The CPU and the sport of powerlifting; whether they were at the top of their game or struggling through injury.

Apart from being a successful athlete, she is a wife, proud mother of two young ladies, dedicated to her careers and never slows down.

When it was her time to step on the platform an increasingly amount of intensity stormed out every single time from start to finish whether it was her opener to a National record attempt. Her peers would all recognize the mission she was on and would respect her “My way or the highway” attitude and find incredible inspiration from her performances.

Although the journey is still far from being over the PEI Powerlifting Association is proud to announce their inaugural inductee to its Hall of Fame. Ladies and gentlemen, our greatest female competitor of all time, Heather Ayles.
